As a Systematic Commodities Quantitative Analyst, you will play a vital role within our investment teams. You should have a deep understanding of market correlations and economic fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and understand opportunities in the global commodities market.
- Conduct intra- and inter-commodity research to develop various quantitative models. Generate and validate new algorithmic models through train-test and live-test methodologies.
- Research and develop investment strategies within a systematic framework, focusing on risk management.
- Monitor daily market activity, collaborate with the investment team from idea generation to execution, and produce post-market analyses and trading reports on a daily to month-over-month basis.
- Consistently generate ideas and adapt to new market challenges.
Preferred Technical & Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Python and architecture design.
- Experience in programming with C or C++ is an added advantage.
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or Agricultural Economics.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of regulated financial market dynamics.
- Solid foundation in statistics, data analysis, and their applications.
- Ability to identify and solve complex problems, with a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation to dynamic market conditions.
Preferred Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience working in a quantitative role within the financial market domain.
- Proficiency and experience with supervised learning techniques for developing data-driven decision strategies using large data sets.
- Understanding of market economics and commodity exchange-traded derivatives.
- Experience in quantitative analysis, econometrics, pricing models, and synthetic equations.
- Proven ability to demonstrate your skills and abilities.
Compensation:
El Dorado offers a competitive package, including a base salary, performance bonuses tied to fund performance, and comprehensive benefits. The base salary for this position ranges from AED 96,000 to 120,000. The selection process considers multiple factors, including soft skills, experience, teamwork, assessment results, and overall qualifications.
