As part of our growth strategy in a highly competitive market, we are looking for a Compliance Officer to ensure that all statutory and regulatory requirements are met. This role will be instrumental in keeping the business in line with regulatory changes and helping the firm maintain compliance standards essential for its growth and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update compliance-related documentation.
- Assist with regulatory filings and ensure accurate reporting.
- Perform various office administrative duties (e.g., scheduling, correspondence, file management).
- Support office operations and coordinate with other respective departments.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new employees.
- Work closely with the compliance team, review records, and maintain accurate filing systems.
- Track and understand global financial regulatory trends, offering insights to enhance the firm's operations.
Preferred Technical & Soft Skills
- Strong educational background in finance, business or related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., DFSA, ADGM, SEC, SEBI, etc.).
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Ability to take initiative and manage tasks to resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of company law principles is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
Preferred Experience
- Proven ability to interpret and implement regulatory guidelines.
- Experience working in a regulatory environment
- Familiarity with AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Customer) processes.
- Prior experience in office administration, preferably within financial services (1-2 years preferred).
- Experience managing projects and coordinating across departments.
- Expertise in calendar management and meeting organization for executives.
Compensation
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary and comprehensive benefits. The base salary for this role ranges from AED 96,000 to AED 120,000, based on qualifications, experience, and the selection process, which will consider a combination of technical expertise, soft skills, and other relevant factors.
